Born in Congo, Kinshasa, Téa Mutonji is a poet, screenwriter and author. Her debut collection, Shut Up You’re Pretty, was published by Vivek Shraya's imprint, VS.Books, and short listed for the Rogers Writers’ Trust in Canadian Fiction (2019). Mutonji has been published or is forthcoming in Room Magazine, The Walrus, The Puritan, Joyland Magazine and others. She writes and gets lost downtown Toronto.
